Tiffany McCoy was born and raised in McHenry, Illinois. She graduated from Saint Joseph's College Indiana (SJC) with a major in Criminal Justice and a minor in Psychology. At SJC, Tiffany was an NCAA Division II athlete as a jumper on the track team. Tiffany went on to obtain her law degree from Valparaiso University Law School (VU), where she was an honors program scholar and graduated magna cum laude. While in law school, Tiffany was a national trial advocacy team competitor and also a member of the Student Animal Legal Defense Fund. She is a true animal lover.
During her educational pursuit, Tiffany sought out multiple internships to expand her legal knowledge at both the Jasper and Marion County Prosecutors Offices, the Office of the Indiana Attorney General, and the Criminal Clinic at VU. Tiffany also served as a judicial extern to the Honorable Robert L. Miller, Jr., in the United States District Court for the Northern District of Indiana.
After Tiffany was admitted to the Indiana Bar in 2018, she joined the Office of the Indiana Attorney General as an Intensive Deputy Attorney General handling matters from multiple divisions within the office. Tiffany spent the next two and a half years as a Deputy Attorney General in Criminal Appeals practicing in front of the Indiana Supreme Court and Court of Appeals.
Tiffany knows the value of teamwork and having someone who believes in you and is in your corner. Her drive comes from her desire to help individuals and families in their time of need. Understanding how much is at stake for her clients, Tiffany works zealously to find a resolution that allows the parties to move forward in the best way possible.
